About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the Plant Support Engineering (PSE) department. Ensures troubleshooting support, temp mod development, causal investigation of issues, engineering in-field activities, and outage preparation & execution are performed timely and while upholding technical conscious. Develops and maintains technical system and component knowledge within the department.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering or related field
Technical understanding of nuclear plant regulations, processes, programs, and procedures
Experience with financial controls, planning and scheduling
Engineering experience with Design, Systems or Component specialties.

Plant Certification or SRO Certification/License preferred

Responsibilities

Direction and oversight of the Plant Support Engineering Department
Development of PSE Supervisors
Chair and facilitate various meetings
Serve as a Project Sponsor as required
Facilitate staffing activities
Manage and allocate departmental budget to resolve site issues, execute engineering outage activities, and perform analysis
Develop and facilitate the Equipment Reliability strategy
Interface with State and Federal regulators to demonstrate continued safe operation
Determine departmental priorities in accordance with current site needs and corporate leadership vision
Interface with external review committees
