About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Patient Support Services Engagement position is a critical role in a fast-paced, energetic US Market Access group. Under the direction of the Rare Disease lead, this individual will be responsible for supporting the launch of a new rare disease product, as well as ongoing operational support for existing rare disease products. This individual will develop and maintain a high-level of collaboration and integration with all cross-functional Regeneron staff, including Field Teams, Brand Marketing, Training, Market Access, Trade, Reimbursement, and Market Research.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Bachelor's degree at a minimum.
  • Rare Disease patient support program experience.
  • Previous case management experience.
  • Deep understanding of the Patient Services internal and vendor landscape.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing a buy and bill reimbursement or patient assistance program.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous social work experience.
  • Launch experience within the Rare Disease space.

Responsibilities

  • Support the launch activities of a new product in rare disease by communicating the patient and provider needs into process and technical requirements.
  • Develop new, and iterate on existing, program SOPs, job aids, call guides, correspondences and materials, including all necessary reviews through legal, regulatory, privacy, and compliance.
  • Provide insights on challenges and opportunities to inform appropriate strategies and tactics to best support this patient community.
  • Manage the vendor(s) associated with operating the program, including budgets, contracts, performance, impact measurements, and compliance.
  • Manage the shared ‘ways of working’ between partners, including overarching process design and vendor workflows.
  • Create materials that support program messaging, such as brochures, apps, websites, SMS content, etc.
  • Help develop training materials and participate in train-the-trainer sessions with vendors to ensure understanding of program materials as well as the CRM system.
  • Provide cross-brand support by assessing and implementing process improvements across all Rare Disease products.
  • Follow all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Regeneron activities.
