  • Oversees a team of Project Managers and System Planners (~15 employees) responsible for all operational aspects of a portfolio of programs.
  • Supports division VP / General Manager and serves as dotted line leadership on their staff to represent all operations related content for the division.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer contract commitments, internal goals and objectives.
  • Develops and maintains mechanisms for monitoring project progress, intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, supply chain, operations, finance, engineering and contracts.
  • Acts as primary escalation point of contact for program management, supply chain, operations, finance, engineering and contract leadership within their division portfolio.
  • Represents operations in Sr Executive reviews for their division and ensures all actions are resolved.
  • Oversees operational activities at every level of the organization at L3Harris.
  • Involves in hiring, training and maintaining employees that report up to the position.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (MBA will be given extra consideration).
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in Operations, Project Management and/or Program Management.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Previous experience in leadership and people management preferred.
  • Proven working experience in project management.
  • Strong understanding of finance at a program, portfolio and division level.
  • Strong understanding of proposals.
  • Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to present to internal and external Sr leaders.
