The Senior Manager, Operations & Platform Test Engineering leads a specialized team responsible for validating the reliability, resilience, and performance of cloud-based platforms and operational processes. This role ensures that infrastructure, automation, and applications meet stringent quality and compliance standards under real-world conditions. It combines leadership, technical expertise, and strategic vision to drive operational excellence across multi-cloud environments.

  • Define and implement testing strategies for cloud operations and platform engineering.
  • Establish best practices for performance, resilience, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Conduct end-to-end and cross-service integration tests across microservices, APIs, and infrastructure layers.
  • Simulate real-world failure modes and validate auto-healing mechanisms.
  • Perform chaos engineering experiments to validate recovery objectives and RTO/RPO targets
  • Drive test automation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Validate adherence to regulatory standards and ensure secure configurations.
  • Provide technical guidance on modern test tooling, automation techniques, and best practices
  • Partner with development, platform, and operations teams to integrate testing into SDLC.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the automation strategy, tools, and processes.
  • Stay on top of the latest trends in test automation and integrate innovative approaches to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive innovation in test methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Hands on experience in developing and implementing test strategies, roadmaps, and operational excellence plans
  • Proven leadership in automation strategy, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills with executive presence and stakeholder influence.
