  • Lead and mentor a team of network monitoring specialists, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance.
  • Oversee the monitoring of network performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network health.
  • Establish and manage alert systems, ensuring timely response to network events and potential security threats.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Generate regular reports on network performance and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in network monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with various network monitoring tools (e.g., SevOne, Logic Monitor, SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
  • Strong understanding of alert life cycles, ITSM procedures, and methodology.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based network monitoring solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
