About The Position

About the Role In this role, you will be a key leader within the Inventory Management team, responsible for bringing the financial strategy of our product vision to life by overseeing one of the company’s largest financial assets: our product. As Senior Manager, Merchandise Planning, you will lead the Women’s, Active Bottoms team and drive the success of multiple product categories by developing and executing a comprehensive financial roadmap that aligns with brand strategy and evolving customer needs. You are passionate about leveraging both qualitative and quantitative insights in a dynamic retail environment and bring a strategic lens to forecasting and financial planning. You are a thought leader who thrives on innovation, inspires cross-functional collaboration, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience while achieving and exceeding financial goals. Your advanced analytical and storytelling skills, combined with a strong leadership presence, will be essential to your success in this role.

Requirements

  • A strategic thinker with 7+ years of experience in merchandise or financial planning within a retail environment.
  • Proven leader with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Highly skilled in Excel and planning systems, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communicator and storyteller, able to influence across levels and functions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Passionate about retail, customer experience, and driving results through collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning and forecasting for multiple product categories, ensuring alignment with brand and customer strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Merchandising, Finance, and Inventory Management—to drive business outcomes.
  • Monitor in-season performance, identify risks and opportunities, and adjust plans to meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Present insights, forecasts, and recommendations to senior leadership in key business meetings.
  • Guide markdown and pricing strategies to optimize profitability while supporting brand integrity.
  • Mentor and develop your team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
