Position Summary This is a hybrid role working from the office 2-3 days a week. Candidates must reside within driving distance of the NYC, Chicago or Hartford office. We’re looking for energetic team members that bring creativity and strategic thinking to our work. The Sr. Marketing Manager role on the Medicare Broker Marketing & Communications team will support the development and execution of full-year, cross-channel marketing and communications programs that activate brokers to meet business goals. This individual will support the lead director in strategy development, and tactical planning of successful broker marketing initiatives and tactics, managing cross-functional workflows and collaborating with internal and external partners. Responsible for supporting the Broker Marketing and Communications team in the end‑to-end development and execution of performance‑driven campaigns for Aetna, with a focus Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and ancillary products. Support growth by working cross-functionally with internal and external partners to execute and manage tactics that deliver on acquisition and retention goals Support briefing process for internal Aetna teams and external creative / media agencies, from brief creation to project kick-off and plan / asset development Develop deep knowledge of the Medicare market and broker advertising and digital ecosystems—along with our organizational structure and distribution channels—to identify opportunities and present actionable strategic recommendations to leadership Manage copy review process, working with compliance, legal and Brand teams to ensure broker-facing language is streamlined and impactful, while compliant with CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) regulations Collaborate with Project Management, Marketing/Campaign Ops, Paid Media and Digital Strategy teams to ensure timelines are met and all required marketing assets are delivered for successful campaign execution Review creative concepts and proofs to ensure alignment with strategic imperatives Partner with agencies to ensure briefs are followed, timelines are created, and deadlines are met Work with Enterprise Intelligence team to identify and execute broker research needs Collaborate with Analytics to develop audience segments for digital and offline targeting, and to manage learning agenda Actively manage and execute marketing calendar, plans and programs to implement all elements of the marketing mix Compile and document insights derived from first-party and syndicated sources to identify opportunities based on broker behavior, competitor actions, and industry trends

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Marketing, Agencies or Consulting roles, preferably managing performance marketing initiatives

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with B2B marketing
  • Understanding of Direct-to-Consumer online and offline marketing
  • History of supporting campaigns that deliver growth through continuous tracking and optimizations
  • Ability to bring together analytics and creativity to drive results
  • Highly communicative team player, adjusts to working style/needs of others to establish strong relationships
  • Healthcare, provider or Medicare experience is a plus, not required
  • Strong strategic, critical thinking, and conceptual abilities; ability to contribute to strategic planning discussions
  • Strong tactical execution skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities at the same time
  • Ability to influence others, work effectively in a matrix environment, and interact with all levels of the organization
