The Sr. Manager, Medical Coding is responsible for providing team oversight and client support for the growth and execution of medical coding services. The scope of this job includes prioritizing tasks and organizing schedules for a team of medical coding professionals, as well as acting as the point of contact for assigned clients to ensure client expectations and needs are met. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of multiple teams, including ongoing monitoring of productivity, quality, and capacity to improve accuracy and compliance while ensuring deadlines are met. Shape communication with respective agencies and internal teams while monitoring volume changes, turnaround times, and client satisfaction. Strategize with the quality team to support ongoing quality programs, including internal and external audits, as well as identify trends and opportunities to implement and enhance training programs as needed. Manage services to ensure appropriate coding practices, regulatory, and contractual compliance while continuously monitoring staffing ratios to meet client timeline requirements. Provide relevant client metrics through accurate and up-to-date client dashboards. Determine resolution of complex issues with clients and internal teams. Perform other job duties as assigned.
