Position: Sr. Manager, Marketing + Creative Location: Chrome Industries Global Headquarters in Portland, Oregon (on-site) Duration: Regular, Full-Time Compensation: $136,900 - $144,500 What You'll Do The Senior Manager of Marketing + Creative is responsible for defining and evolving the look, feel, and expression of the Chrome Industries brand across all marketing touchpoints. This role sets the creative and brand strategy that supports business growth, product storytelling, and consumer engagement, while ensuring consistent execution across channels. Operating at both a strategic and executional level, the Senior Manager leads and develops internal team members and external agency partners to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns and content on time and within budget. This role partners closely with cross-functional leaders to translate business objectives into impactful, integrated marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Design, Business or related fields.
  • Six (6) years experience in advertising, brand/general marketing and/or business development preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering impactful marketing campaigns within premium consumer categories.
  • Deep understanding of modern consumer acquisition and engagement channels, including social media, influencer and affiliate marketing, events, and emerging platforms, with the ability to select and optimize channels based on audience and objectives.
  • Strong capability to lead and manage creative teams, guiding the development of artwork, photography, video, and copy to ensure brand consistency, quality, and effectiveness.
  • Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing people, including setting expectations, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth.
  • Ability to translate business and brand strategy into clear creative direction, briefs, and priorities for internal teams and external partners.
  • Working expertise with creative and design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator).
  • Proficiency in marketing and creative project management, including planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and timeline management across multiple initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and align partners around shared goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer experience with premium consumer products, either with a brand or agency.
  • Experience in the bag category and sport/outdoor/bike industry a plus

Responsibilities

  • Defines and evolves the overall brand and creative strategy for Chrome Industries, establishing the look, feel, and expression of the brand to engage current and future consumers.
  • Develops and executes integrated brand and product marketing campaigns that support business growth objectives, product launches, and seasonal priorities.
  • Partners with the E-Commerce team to create and implement content and channel strategy across key platforms, including the Chrome website, social media (e.g., Instagram, TikTok), email marketing, affiliate and influencer programs, and emerging channels.
  • Translates company and marketing objectives into clear creative direction, briefs, and priorities that guide internal teams and external partners.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops direct reports, providing clear expectations, performance feedback, and growth opportunities as the marketing team evolves.
  • Plans and manages marketing resources and budgets, ensuring campaigns and content are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Oversees relationships with external agencies and creative partners, including public relations, freelance designers, photographers, and videographers, to ensure high-quality execution and brand consistency.
  • Partners cross-functionally with Product, Sales, E-commerce, and Leadership teams to align marketing strategies with go-to-market plans and revenue objectives.
  • Monitors and evaluates campaign performance and brand impact, using insights to refine strategies, improve effectiveness, and inform future initiatives.
  • Performs other leadership and marketing responsibilities as required to Support the growth and evolution of the business.
