About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Market & Competitive Intelligence plays a critical role in shaping strategic direction and commercial decision-making across the AgriBusiness portfolio. This leader is responsible for delivering high-impact market insights, competitive analysis, and forward-looking intelligence that inform growth strategies, investment decisions, and operational priorities. Operating at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and industry expertise, the role requires analysis and assessment of global agriculture markets—including crop nutrition, ag commodities, input supply chains, and regulatory dynamics. The ideal candidate will be a proactive thought partner, capable of synthesizing complex data into actionable insights and influencing senior stakeholders across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Agribusiness, Data Analytics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, market research, strategic planning, or analytics, preferably within agriculture or commodities.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes through data-driven insights.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with forecasting models, syndicated data, and competitive analysis tools.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling capabilities.
  • Experience managing external research partners and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze global and regional trends across agriculture, crop nutrition, commodity markets, energy, transportation, and policy.
  • Develop and maintain competitor profiles, strategic positioning assessments, and benchmarking analyses.
  • Build and maintain robust market models and scenario frameworks to support long-range planning, risk mitigation, and investment evaluation.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Commercial, Strategy, FP&A, and Operations to embed intelligence into business decisions.
  • Manage quantitative and qualitative research initiatives, including methodology selection, vendor oversight, and data interpretation.
  • Deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations that translate data into strategic narratives.
