Your work will directly support a successful launch and scaling of Retail Card as a core tender at Snap merchants’ point of sale.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, business management, consulting, or analytics, ideally in consumer finance, credit cards, payments, or fintech.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data, building simple models, and deriving insights.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Risk, Analytics, Operations, Commercial/Merchant).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, drive follow-through, and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear, executive-ready materials.
  • Comfort operating as an individual contributor while supporting and influencing senior leaders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with card products, POS financing, or merchant/retail payments.
  • Familiarity with product launch processes and/or program management in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment (e.g., fintech, startup, transformation teams).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director, Product Lead – Retail Card to refine product strategy and priorities, especially around launch and early growth.
  • Help define and maintain goals and KPIs for Retail Card (e.g., acquisition, approval rates, usage at merchants, repeat usage, losses, economics).
  • Build and update financial models and simple business cases to evaluate product constructs, pricing, offers, and merchant use cases.
  • Prepare clear, concise materials for leadership reviews (e.g., launch updates, performance deep dives, initiative status).
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear problem statements, requirements, and action items for Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations, and other teams.
  • Track end-to-end launch execution: timelines, dependencies, risks; follow up with owners and flag issues early.
  • Coordinate launch readiness activities, including testing, training, merchant enablement, and servicing readiness.
  • Maintain a simple, visible initiative tracker for Retail Card launch and early enhancements.
  • Partner with Analytics and Finance to monitor KPIs and dashboards for Retail Card performance, especially during launch and ramp (e.g., merchant penetration, usage, approvals, losses).
  • Identify performance issues or outliers and dig into root causes (e.g., merchant type, channel, segment, product configuration).
  • Recommend data-driven actions and tests; help design and analyze experiments (offers, promotions, constructs, flows) in partnership with Analytics, Product, and Marketing.
  • Build a strong understanding of merchant and shopper journeys at Snap merchants’ point of sale, and how Retail Card fits into those flows.
  • Use data, merchant feedback, and partner input to identify pain points and opportunities in Retail Card usage at POS.
  • Support Merchant and Marketing partners on channel and campaign planning for Retail Card (e.g., positioning at POS, merchant education, promotions).
  • Work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ensure business proposals and launch plans are consistent with policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Support Product and Operations in documenting business requirements and operational impacts (e.g., servicing, disputes, collections) for Retail Card.
  • Identify recurring operational issues affecting Retail Card and help propose and track improvements.
  • Serve as a central coordination point for Retail Card launch and early initiatives, working across Product, Marketing, Risk, Analytics, Operations, Merchant, and Servicing teams.
