In Schwab Cybersecurity Services (SCS), Office of CISO, we provide platforms, services, and security operations capabilities which enable the firm to produce successful client and shareholder outcomes securely and safely. Securing our IT assets, data, and access to applications is the core of who we are and what we do. We ensure only the appropriate entities have access to IT resources and that we implement proven approaches and standards to ensure a safe and congruent environment is maintained. The Cybersecurity Product & Portfolio Management (CPPM) organization within SCS has an opportunity for a Business Partner (BP) lead role.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Partner experience or similar background
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Project management experience in financial services
  • Cybersecurity experience and/or exposure within the cybersecurity environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supports continuous improvement within the CPPM and BP organizations to mature processes and maintain awareness across the SCS organization on how we work
  • Identifies Project Management gaps and influences maturity as needed, including coaching and alignment conversations
  • Builds relationships with key stakeholders (Product Managers, MD's, Project Managers) to support execution against SCS products and initiatives
  • Provides consistent and executive level reporting support (i.e. health of projects, product and portfolio alignment)
  • Facilitates building business cases, right sized plans/governance, workforce planning and various deliverables to support the success of SCS
  • Understands how business case/investments align with the overall roadmap, financials and objectives of the product/organization
  • Drives organization to define work, right size teams and facilitate workforce requests and planning
  • Supports Fixed Capacity Modeling and assists with transparency of workloads/workforce assignment
  • Acts as a liaison for the Org Leader, Product Managers and SMEs as needed
  • Identifies scope changes, OKR risks, and financial risks by working closely with vendor management on contract related matters
  • Drives the T4T (Tech 4 Tech) process to ensure strong transparency for dependencies across STS teams
