We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager of IT Engineering to lead our DevOps and Automation initiatives. This role will drive the modernization, scalability, and efficiency of our operations by developing automation frameworks, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and enabling seamless integration between systems. You will oversee a team of engineers responsible for building and maintaining automation pipelines, monitoring systems, and ensuring that our IT services are robust, secure, and continuously improving.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in IT engineering or DevOps, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience with automation tools (Workato or Moveworks preferred) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD, IaC, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong background in systems monitoring, logging, and observability (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, etc.).
  • Experience implementing best practices and integrating security in pipelines.
  • Strong analytic skills with a bias for action and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps and automation engineers, providing technical guidance, career development, and performance management.
  • Define and execute the IT automation and DevOps roadmap aligned with organization goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (IT Operations, Security, Product Engineering, and Compliance) to drive operational excellence.
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Jenkins.
  • Oversee configuration management and deployment automation across multi-cloud environments.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through monitoring and observability solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation across IT processes (provisioning, onboarding, compliance, incident management, etc.).
  • Build and maintain scripts, bots, and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
  • Drive the adoption of automation platforms and self-service tools for internal teams.
