About The Position

The Senior Manager (Housekeeping – Evening Shift) oversees all turndown and evening housekeeping operations, with a focus on service delivery, staffing, and smooth daily operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Key responsibilities include daily operational coordination, employee engagement, performance documentation, and collaboration with internal partners to support staffing, scheduling, and service excellence across the department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in housekeeping or hotel operations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee relations skills.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in workforce planning, scheduling, and attendance management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work swing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and conduct inspections throughout assigned areas.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all evening service, stay-over service, and vacant dirty (VD) room operations during evening shift.
  • Ensure consistent execution of Wynn and Forbes Five‑Star standards through visual inspections of guest rooms, hallways, and service areas.
  • Coordinate with Rooms Control, Scheduler(s), SBO, and graveyard leadership to review daily credits, drops, staffing levels, and leadership coverage.
  • Guide scheduling activities and proactively address staffing challenges.
  • Conduct staffing forecasts, productivity updates, and attendance reviews in collaboration with WFM and Scheduling.
  • Address evening employee relations issues, including disciplines in draft, SPIs, Step Ones, and meeting requests.
  • Conduct daily meet‑and‑greets and maintain accessibility to associates during shift transitions.
  • Facilitate and attend engagement forums such as “Coffee with Staff.”
  • Log employee feedback and escalating trends or concerns as needed.
  • Participate in recognition programs including Employee of the Month.
  • Support department celebrations, special events, bulletin boards, and seasonal celebrations (New Year, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas, etc.)
