About The Position
This role is responsible for managing and developing the global transportation procurement operation. This position has direct communication with 3rd party transportation partners for all aspects of the RFP, negotiations, and contract process for new or renewed contracts and will be responsible to maintain the portfolio of existing contracts. Additionally, this role will facilitate/oversee/negotiate any rate reviews and negotiations outside of contracting periods including spot market rates, fuel updates, rate adjustments, peak surcharges, GRI's, new lanes, etc. There will be frequent interaction with cross-functional partners to inform procurement strategy, support network changes and outline financial impacts.
