About The Position

The Sr. Manager position is responsible for working with the Interiors business to ensure compliance with sanctions, antiboycott, and AES requirements, and assist with Global Trade Digital Technology projects. The individual will develop and deliver training, provide Global Trade guidance to the business, conduct daily transactional reviews, resolve sanctions issues, and possess the ability to establish close working relationships with the business unit representatives in the US and internationally. While a hybrid role type from our Winston-Salem, NC facility is preferred, we will consider remote candidates.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience applying trade compliance regulations, including but not limited to the U.S. EAR and ITAR.

Responsibilities

  • Create and provide proactive guidance and training on relevant sanctions and anti-boycott-related topics to the business
  • Review and disposition Due Diligence requests, including potential screening matches, transactions with Heightened Review Countries, and transactions with potential red flags
  • Review daily screening reports and take necessary actions across all Interiors sites
  • Conduct part reviews to determine continued eligibility for sourcing from China in accordance with the China Sourcing Directive
  • Collect quarterly anti-boycott data and draft anti-boycott reports for submission to Central Global Trade office.
  • Work to ensure AES compliance by providing communications, training, and auditing to the Interiors sites
  • Serve as the Project Manager for new Global Trade DT projects, including scope, schedule, and cost management
  • Assist sites in completing self-assessments and the development of processes to address gaps
  • Conduct site assessments and site visits to ensure compliance with GT requirements
  • Support other export compliance activities (e.g., self-assessments, internal and external audits)
  • Travel required up to 5-10% (US and international).
