About The Position

In this role, you will lead the vision and strategy for onboarding new employees at Uber, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from pre-hire through the first 90 days. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing the onboarding program globally, collaborating with cross-functional leaders to integrate Uber's values and mission into the onboarding process, and driving employee engagement and productivity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of total professional experience.
• 4+ years of people management experience.

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience in a global L&D, HR, Talent, and/or Operations role.
• Understanding of adult learning theories and experience in global learning and development.
• Ability to interact and influence senior leaders across multiple functions.
• Deep understanding of the employee lifecycle and maximizing new-hire experience.
• Previous experience leading onboarding for a global company.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and strategy for onboarding nUbers globally.
• Own and optimize the end-to-end onboarding stage of the employee life cycle.
• Lead a multi-functional team overseeing the global onboarding experience.
• Define and measure success metrics for onboarding effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of a new digital onboarding solution.
• Partner with Business Leaders and HR teams to enhance the onboarding experience.
• Collaborate with executive teams to ensure cohesive onboarding strategies.
• Drive alignment towards a globalized program vision while meeting regional needs.
• Clearly define roles and responsibilities among stakeholders involved in onboarding.
• Mentor and develop the onboarding team to foster creativity and execution.
• Streamline communications across the onboarding lifecycle for all stakeholders.
• Influence enhancements of existing onboarding tools and processes.
