About The Position

The Senior Manager of Future Voyage Sales, also known as My Next Virgin Voyage (MNVV), will own and lead Virgin Voyages’ onboard future cruise program end-to-end — driving commercial performance, Sailor experience, and operational excellence across ship and shore. This role will develop the strategy and roadmap for continuous improvement, lead cross-functional execution, oversee onboard MNVV teams and ways of working, and deliver clear reporting and performance storytelling for senior leadership. MNVV is a core revenue and retention sales lever. This onboard offer enables Sailors to secure value on a future sailing via an onboard deposit and tiered incentives. Key success factors for this role include: Assess the current state end-to-end and build a prioritized 2026–2027 roadmap to drive growth, efficiency, and Sailor experience improvements. Lead the redesign of Future Voyage Sales environments onboard — partnering with Strategy/Design through concept, implementation, and rollout. Develop and execute a more dynamic onboard promotions strategy (test-and-learn), aligned to sailing needs and commercial priorities. Identify and close MNVV policy loopholes, partnering with cross-functional teams to update policies, train teams, and ensure consistent execution. Ensure shipboard sales teams are aligned to strategy and actively selling the products and behaviors we need (e.g., Refer a Sailor), with clear goals and coaching. Lead the onboard organization effectively — evaluate team structure, staffing model, and ways of working; implement changes needed to improve performance and consistency. This is a hybrid role with periodic travel onboard our ships to support program observation, team engagement, and continuous improvement. This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years in program management, commercial operations, revenue/retention programs, or loyalty/future travel sales (hospitality, travel, or cruise is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and deliver a roadmap across multiple teams: strong cross-functional influence without direct authority.
  • Comfort operating in a field + HQ hybrid model (including periodic travel/ship visits).
  • Strong analytical skills: KPI definition, funnel analysis, segmentation, and performance storytelling.
  • Excellent executive communication: concise, action-oriented updates and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Program ownership & commercial performance Own MNVV performance and growth across the business (ship + shore), with a clear commercial mindset: revenue, conversion, attach, rebooking, and Sailor value. Establish annual/quarterly program goals and KPIs; identify performance drivers and implement initiatives to unlock growth. Partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure offer mechanics, pricing/value, promotions and communications align to commercial strategy and brand.
  • Strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement Deeply understand the MNVV offer and end-to-end Sailor journey (onboard purchase, post-voyage redemption, and ongoing nurture communications). Build and maintain a MNVV improvement roadmap (experience, process, training, tooling, comms, and analytics), prioritizing highest-impact opportunities. Identify friction points and operational gaps; translate them into clear requirements and execution plans.
  • Cross-functional leadership (shore + ship) Lead cross-functional working groups to deliver roadmap initiatives (e.g., Sailor Services, Operations, IT, SLT, Digital, Marketing, Legal, Accounting, Finance, etc.). Drive alignment on roles, responsibilities, timelines, and success metrics; proactively unblock issues and keep delivery moving. Ensure proper governance structure including offer and communications are compliant and on-brand, with clear terms and execution standards, changes to the offer, onboard training, and customer-facing comms.
  • Onboard team oversight & field leadership Provide oversight for the onboard MNVV/Future Voyage Sales teams: staffing model inputs, performance expectations, training support, and operational playbooks. Conduct periodic ship visits to observe program execution firsthand, gather qualitative insights, validate process changes, and coach teams in partnership with onboard leadership. Create feedback loops between ship teams and shore teams to continuously improve Sailor experience and sales effectiveness.
  • Reporting, insights, and leadership updates Build and own MNVV reporting cadence: dashboards, weekly/monthly performance readouts, and senior leadership updates. Tell a clear story with data as to progress and determining prioritization of next steps. Ensure metrics and reporting reflect the full funnel (onboard acquisition through redemption/booking) and highlight opportunities and risks early.
