The Sr. Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial reporting and forecasting for multiple Corporate Functions within the business, and will be the main point of contact for these business partners. They will be managing a team of analysts through all processes to achieve monthly deliverables required. These will include, completing month end close tasks, annual budgeting cycles, monthly forecast cycles, internal reporting to both Corporate Finance and business partners. This role will also require a deep understanding of the financial systems being used at Global Payments.

Requirements

  • 5-15 years of progressive experience in FP&A
  • Exposure to Corporate Accounting
  • Knowledge of financial metrics, NPV, IRR, Payback
  • OPEX/CAPEX savvy; general understanding of GAAP required
  • Ability to communicate financial information to a non financial audience in a meaningful and actionable way
  • Must be able to present information to various levels of the company providing appropriate level of detail and presentation dependent on audience
  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance, Economics or related disciplines required.
  • Expert knowledge in Excel with proficiency in PowerPoint, and Word required (Google Sheets is a plus).
  • Experience in playing a role in analyzing a highly complex business.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and technical skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple transactions / tasks under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Ability to drive innovation and business improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people with varying degrees of financial exposure.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA is preferred
  • Revenue forecasting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership and responsibility for financial reporting and forecasting for Corporate Functions within the business (approx. $250MM annual expense budget)
  • Review and assist staff in completing month end close responsibilities
  • Deep understanding of Finance's Enterprise Planning tool (i.e. Hyperion) and the ability to build reporting out of this tool and train team members on the basics
  • Maintaining standardized reporting and exploring ways to drive efficiency without compromising accuracy
  • Consolidate monthly flash reporting to senior leaders including communication to C-suite executives
  • Review and assist the business partners with business case submissions and submitted business cases from the teams business partners for completeness and accuracy
  • Assist in special ad-hoc analyses
  • Assist in M&A and Special projects related to Corp strategy and technology
  • Assist Director/SVP of Corporate Finance on executive level presentations
