Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine The role of Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations , is responsible for supporting operational, sales, and marketing priorities in the US Immunology business. This position will report to Senior Director of Commercial Strategy & Operations in the Immunology Business and is a member of the Senior Sales Leadership team. The Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations is a unique role that partners closely with senior sales and marketing leaders and operational business partners to develop strategies and solutions that enable and accelerate competitiveness of field sales organization. The role will require strong proficiency in leading leaders without direct authority and building tight-knit collaboration with business partners across Immunology commercial functions. Primary areas of focus for this role include but are not limited to the following: Evolve organizational capabilities and drive change management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of seven or more years in sales, insights, and/or operational roles is required.
  • Strong leadership, management and teamwork qualities are required.
  • Strong strategic/tactical planning and implementation capabilities are required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in market analysis, business planning, understanding customer needs, developing solutions, and general project management is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Experience with MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, or other platforms is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of three or more years in sales leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and implement go-to-market strategy
  • Streamline internal processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency within franchise and/or across IMM
  • Drive seamless communication and collaboration (within franchise and/or IMM)
  • Partner with field leaders, sales learning, and meetings management to operationalize sales meetings (national and regional)
  • Partner with senior leaders (ex: VPs) to shape and implement franchise-specific priorities
  • Proactively identify and implement solutions to facilitate delivery of sales data-driven insights (for the field and home office)
  • Partner with business leaders to shape, implement, track and action plan against business KPIs (ex: facilitate launch/brand control room to drive insight collection and timely actions)
  • Recommend IC and/or sales contests design to achieve desired business outcomes
  • Develop and implement best practices for operational workflows across teams
  • Assist with resource allocation to ensure optimal use of budget (ex: T&E budgets and monthly utilization reports)
  • Shape and drive OneIMM initiatives (ex: IMM People Leader Meeting, OneIMM Council meetings/initiatives, forums to drive connectedness with field leaders, coordinating/supporting IMM Emerging Leader Academy nominees)
  • Compliantly offer assistance to other field partners in leading through change (ex: PECS team)
