The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Process and Systems Transformation (PST) Team: RTX has an opening for an Sr. Manager, ERP Analyst - Production Planning (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) role. oneRTX Process & Systems Transformation, ERP Business Analyst - Plan to Deliver (Production Planning) Are you interested in playing a key role in defining the future of Aerospace and Defense? If so, we are hiring an ERP Business Analyst - (Plan to Deliver) to help drive our oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation program. The OneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation Program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems. RTX has chosen SAP's S/4HANA to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the strategic definition and design phase and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.

  • Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leverage S/4HANA, enhancing our Plan to Deliver processes in alignment with desired RTX operating model and industry best practices.
  • Support the creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.
  • Support the evaluation of options for bolt-on applications and make recommendations based on functional requirements, desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices.
  • Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing.
  • Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.
  • Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope for (Plan to Deliver) as part of the program.
  • Mentor less experienced team members in specific areas of the (Plan to Deliver) business process hierarchy.
  • Ensure that RTX is positioned for future success within all functional areas of (Plan to Deliver).
  • Travel up to 25%.
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in Production Planning and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
  • Working knowledge of Plan to Sustain business processes and technical system knowledge in the following areas: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities in production planning PP module.
  • Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning, including Kinaxis, APO, IBP, Servigistics.
  • Production Planning - including Make to Stock, Make to Order, MRP, MPS, GPD/PMMO, and Aftermarket processes.
  • Strong understanding of batch processing and the downstream impact of delayed MRP / Logistical Pegging and all other highly dependent batch scheduling.
  • Knowledge of lean material replenishment strategies, forecasting and inventory optimization.
  • Knowledge of SAP PPDS, demand planning, inventory and replenishment strategies.
  • Experience in designing solutions for discrete manufacturing & repetitive manufacturing environments are critical.
  • Manufacturing execution including Make to Stock, Make to Order, GPD/PMMO.
  • Working knowledge of (Plan to Deliver) business processes and technical system knowledge in the following areas: Knowledge with MRP Live.
  • PEO experience.
  • Production Master Data - Material masters, BOM, Routing, Work centers, Production Versions, Material replenishment for Production Area, Backflush, Kanban process, etc.
  • Shop Floor Management with experience in designing solutions for discrete manufacturing & repetitive manufacturing environments including SAP S/4HANA.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management, IDOCs and/or APIs.
  • Experience working on large, complex A&D enterprise projects -- or similarly regulated, large organization.
