Senior Manager of Engineering Program Management with a strong track record
delivering large-scale, cross-functional engineering programs. You are a proven
people leader who thrives on developing teams and driving complex initiatives

comfortable presenting to executives as you are engaging with engineering teams
on technical details.

DESCRIPTION

This role leads program management and execution across a portfolio of Wallet,
Payments, and Commerce initiatives. You will partner directly with engineering
and cross-functional teams across WPC and Apple Services to drive end-to-end
planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs. As a people leader, you
will mentor and grow a team of Engineering Program Managers, establish
operational best practices, and foster a culture of accountability,
collaboration, and delivery excellence.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical program and project management, including managing a team of program managers.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large cross-functional programs and roadmaps, identify risks, and drive results.
• Strong technical acumen, able to engage credibly with engineering teams on architecture, system design, and technical trade-offs.
• Effective decision-maker who balances risks and benefits for the overall good of the organization.
• Results-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision in a cross-functional environment while managing program details and broader dependencies.
• Experience influencing and building trust with partners and senior executive leadership to move programs forward.

Nice To Haves

• Experience leading AI/ML-related programs, including familiarity with machine learning development lifecycles, model deployment, data pipelines, or AI-powered product features.
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills across a variety of audiences and organizational levels.
• Ability to participate in and facilitate technical design and architecture discussions.
• Skilled at navigating ambiguity, building alignment across competing priorities, and leading teams to successful delivery.
• Passion for mentoring and developing Engineering Program Managers, measuring success through the growth and impact of your team.
