We are seeking a hands-on, creative, and dynamic leader to join our Digital Innovation Team as Senior Manager of Sports Digital Video. This role requires a seasoned storyteller who not only manages but also actively contributes - shooting, writing, producing, and editing compelling sports content across all platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong sports knowledge, management experience, and editorial instincts with a passion for innovation and the ability to think outside the box. In this role, you will oversee the production of high-quality sports video content for digital, streaming, social, and emerging platforms. You will lead a team of producers and editors while also rolling up your sleeves to execute projects, ensuring content is journalistically sound, visually engaging, and tailored for maximum impact. The Senior Manager of Sports Digital Video will be part of the Digital Innovation Team, creating content for the NBC Owned Stations Group. The senior manager will oversee breaking sports news, sponsored editorial content, tentpole coverage (Olympics, World Cup) and more. The position will lead the creation and execution of innovative content that can be used across multiple platforms and work closely with our sales leaders to ensure it can be packaged for editorial sponsorships. In addition, the role will oversee other producer/editors on the team.
