We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager of DevOps to lead and evolve our DevOps practice. This role is responsible for setting the strategy for DevOps across the division, driving execution of complex projects, building automation frameworks, and ensuring that our systems and processes are robust, scalable, and efficient. You will lead a talented global team of DevOps engineers, collaborating closely with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

  • Set and execute DevOps strategy: Develop and maintain the vision, roadmap, and best practices for DevOps across the division.
  • Drive automation: Architect, build, and improve automation pipelines for code deployment, infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and CI/CD using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, and ServiceNow.
  • AWS cloud automation: Develop and enhance automation for consistently provisioning, configuring, and managing AWS cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to support our applications and services.
  • Lead project execution: Manage and drive the execution of complex and cross-functional projects within the DevOps team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery timelines.
  • Team leadership: Mentor, guide, and grow the DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Data-driven decision-making: Use strong data analysis and Excel skills to track key performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and report to senior stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder communication: Develop and deliver clear presentations to leadership and other teams to communicate strategy, status updates, and performance metrics.
  • Collaboration: Partner with dispersed, global team of developers, QA, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps processes into the software development lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native serverless and microservices-based platforms, technologies, and stacks (Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS, Lambda, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Terraform, and ServiceNow.
  • Proven experience setting and executing DevOps strategy in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical skills in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
  • Strong full-stack understanding of both Datacenter and Cloud patterns and best practices for applications, servers, serverless compute, databases, and networking.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive execution of complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent data analysis and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate ideas and thoughts clearly and easily through in varied contexts and through multiple mediums.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • ITIL or other service management frameworks.
  • Proven experience in directly and indirectly leading engineering teams and projects.
  • Ability to quickly and independently learn, discover, and understand new technologies, products, software, and deployments.
