We are looking for a strategic and driven Sr. Manager to lead our Data Sciences & Analytics team within the Business Operations organization. This pivotal role demands a candidate with a strong manufacturing and operations background, outstanding communication skills, and proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams.   • Develop and coordinate the organization's data analytics roadmap to align with business and operational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of Data Analysts, encouraging a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture.
  • Spearhead initiatives that integrate advanced analytics into our business processes, encouraging a culture centered around data.
  • Build a high-performing team and analytics platform that captures and reports on critical business performance metrics, including production rates, production costs, quality, scheduling, and workforce efficiency.
  • Drive strategic decisions through in-depth data exploration and analysis. Lead initiatives around advanced analytics, including machine learning, AI, and statistical modeling.
  • Develop dashboards and automated reporting to monitor trends and results.
  • Share findings and results with executive leadership in a clear and actionable way. Present and defend metrics to executive leadership.
  • Possess outstanding problem-solving skills to assess and navigate complex data problems with creativity and analytical rigor.
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and/or supply chain analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience managing data science, analytics, or cross-functional technical teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Familiarity with big data platforms and cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management and prioritization abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical collaborators.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional projects and work closely with various collaborators.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
  • Experience with data from Costpoint, Workday, Databricks, AWS, Confluence, and Cornerstone.
