The Senior Manager for Disney's Direct-to-Consumer Product & Tech Analytics team will lead a team of analysts focused on measurement, analysis, and insight generation to support growth and cancellation product areas. This role involves partnering with product teams to analyze performance metrics, identify data patterns, and develop actionable recommendations to enhance business performance. The position requires cross-functional collaboration with marketing, business operations, data engineering, and product teams to optimize analytics processes and drive business initiatives.

  • Lead and grow a highly technical analytics team that supports product and engineering stakeholders.
  • Build strategic relationships with key technology and business partners to ensure smooth operations of analytics support.
  • Create analyses, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting to support operations and decision-making for sign-up and commerce product spaces.
  • Answer core business questions and provide analytical expertise on commerce flows to improve user experience and increase conversions.
  • Advance analytical capabilities, collaborate on diagnostic solutions, and deliver impactful data insights and products.
  • Utilize data visualization tools, SQL, and scripting languages to analyze structured and unstructured data.
  • Apply descriptive and inferential statistics to understand cohort behaviors and drive business impact.
  • A degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business, Business Analytics or related field).
  • 2+ years of management experience leading teams of analysts or cross-functional technical projects.
  • 10+ years of experience in a data and analytics role with strong SQL, Python, or R skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical business partners.
  • Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools like Matplotlib, Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end analytics projects from vague requirements to clear business outcomes.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with teammates, business partners, and technical colleagues.
  • Masters degree in an analytical field.
  • Familiarity with marketing landing pages, sign-up funnel, and commerce spaces.
  • Ability to identify and appropriately call out issues to leadership.
  • Consulting background, MBA, or other multi-industry experience.
  • Strong motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Sense of humor and unique passions that influence work interactions.
