Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Data or Information Sciences, or related field.
  • 8 years of applied analytic experience in areas like Merchandising, Marketing, or Retail Operations.
  • 3 years of experience leading project or technical teams, providing direction and mentoring.
  • Experience with SQL and familiarity with enterprise-grade environments (Teradata, Hadoop).
  • Experience with analytical tools like Python, SQL, SAS, R, Adobe, Alteryx, Knime, Aster.
  • Experience with enterprise-level databases (Hadoop, Teradata, GCP, Azure, Oracle, DB2).
  • Experience using data visualization tools (MicroStrategy VI, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Functional experience performing predictive analytics at a large scale.
  • Experience in advanced data modeling, data mining, and exploratory data analysis.
  • Experience translating business requirements into analytics models.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and presenting analytics results.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Programming experience using tools such as R, Python.
  • Data Science experience using tools such as ML, Text mining.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in customer and marketing analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of analytical professionals who develop models and algorithms for decision-making.
  • Manages the team by prioritizing work, balancing capacity and demand, and guiding performance.
  • Partners with business peers to translate business needs into analytic design and measurement plans.
  • Collaborates with IT, Data Analytics, and Data Science to ensure seamless reporting of relevant OKRs.
  • Develops team-level objectives and assists analysts in planning project activities.
  • Aligns team efforts on critical projects and delegates tasks appropriately.
  • Oversees delivery of analytic solutions to stakeholders, managing dependencies and resources.
  • Drives adoption of data and analytics services, quantifying their impact.
  • Supports continuous process improvement by researching best practices and recommending improvements.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with cross-functional partners, coaching analysts accordingly.
  • Hires, trains, and develops talent, monitoring team morale and engagement.
  • Provides leadership by setting goals, giving feedback, and managing performance.
  • Contributes to departmental budget and manages related expenses.
  • Conducts analysis of current analytics processes and recommends new procedures.
