About The Position

Become a lead contributor and people manager on the NBCUniversal Cyber Security team and make an impact defending corporate resources, building relationships across business lines, and driving cyber defense across the business and the NBCU Enterprise. This position is responsible for creating and executing campaign packages to promote key cyber security messages across diverse audiences. This role will be the principal copywriter/copy editor for all content. It requires that the candidate already have experience working with IT and Cyber teams and is ready to gain deep understanding of NBCU Cyber services, industry-specific business risks, and the evolving cyber threat landscape.

Requirements

  • 10+ years executing marketing and communication campaigns for Technology and Cyber Security markets required.
  • Skill copywriter and copy editor.
  • Ability to translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.
  • Effective copywriting and strong copyediting.
  • Strong in PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Experience using project management tools to track and measure work.
  • Expert in email marketing best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Cyber Awareness and Training experience a plus.
  • Strong graphic layout and design skills a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field and/or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of contributors to ideate, create, execute, and measure communication and marketing campaigns.
  • Create, implement, and coordinate marketing and communications strategies across four threads: Service Portfolio, Program Initiatives, Human Risk Awareness and Training, and Strategic/Business Status.
  • Generate innovative ideas for content, workflow solutions, and alternative communication delivery methods.
  • Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.
  • Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation.
  • Work with business area communication leads, Information Security Officers, service leads, Cyber leadership, and cyber security subject matter experts to ensure messaging is accurate, cohesive, and effective.
  • Identify target audiences and stakeholders for each campaign workstream to ensure targeted, relevant, and timely touchpoints.
  • Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, events, and communication programs.
  • Develop and manage content for the Cyber intranet, training library, communication workflows, and business briefings.
  • Adhere to brand usage guidelines and develop brand templates.
  • Oversee and collaborate with third-party vendors and contractors as needed to provide surge support for creative services, web development, and data analytics.
  • Organize internal virtual and in-person training and awareness events.
