Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Customer Strategy on the SourceView Conversion Team, based in West Chester, PA. This role is customer‑facing and will report to a leadership team located in West Chester, PA. Overview The Senior Manager, Customer Strategy will report to the Director of Customer Strategy and support strategic initiatives across the U.S. region. This includes partnership with Orthopaedic Account Management (OAM), Offer Development, Field Sales Organizations (FSO), Contract Management, Marketing, and other cross‑functional teams. The role will lead the development, validation, enhancement, and expansion of tools and processes that enable business growth and support competitive conversions.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • A minimum of 10 years professional experience
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in orthopaedic sales
  • Proficiency in the suite of MS Office programs
  • Experience in working and collaborating with sales, marketing, operations, compliance, legal, finance, medical and clinical affairs and regulatory organizations
  • This position will require up to 25% domestic travel, including occasional nights and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • An MBA is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects in dynamic environments; advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Sales leadership is preferred but not required
  • Strategic, financial, and analytic capabilities
  • Demonstrated financial/accounting treatment expertise

Responsibilities

  • Advance U.S. business plan objectives, including sales, margin, inventory efficiency, and pricing performance.
  • Leverage customer-specific insights and analytics to collaborate with OAM and FSO partners, driving sustainable value for health system customers.
  • Partner directly with customers to structure, interpret, and translate data to improve operational and financial outcomes, including support for vendor consolidation strategies and C‑suite‑level engagements.
  • Lead sophisticated financial discussions related to capital, inventory, and asset management, and apply capital-placement strategies to support competitive conversions.
  • Influence without authority and collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure business needs and customer commitments are met.
  • Identify emerging business trends through data analysis, develop clear insights, communicate findings, and drive action through follow‑through and accountability.
  • Use data‑driven storytelling to communicate solutions that strengthen customer partnerships and accelerate competitive conversion strategies.
  • Develop and deliver quarterly business reviews to maintain strategic alignment, strengthen relationships, and reinforce shared value creation.
  • Design innovative pathways to grow the orthopedic portfolio, including inventory optimization and market‑aligned pricing strategies.
  • Support cross‑functional teams by leveraging customer commitments and driving alignment across DePuy Synthes platforms.
