Truly, the possibilities are beautiful. The Creative Operations Sr Manager plays a key role in establishing the global ways of working, processes, and best practices for the creative team. This role is the key to ensuring effective briefings, appropriate resources, relevant timelines, creative reviews, and the ultimate delivery of high-quality work that is projects are delivered on brand and on time. Reporting to the VP of Creative and Editorial, this role leads a growing, influential team that partners closely with internal and external operations teams to ensure the delivery of materials that support Brand Marketing initiatives for Ulta Beauty. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in creative operations, strong project management skills, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, demonstrating success in driving creative excellence and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in creative operations, project management, or production within marketing, design, agency, or in-house creative settings.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Proficient with tools for creative development (Adobe Creative Cloud, monday.com, Workfront, Figma, Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to encourage collaboration, creativity, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Brand creative team operations.
  • Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for complex, high profile projects.
  • Create efficient processes and tools for collaboration across groups.
  • Track and report project status regularly.
  • Lead stakeholder status meetings during content development.
  • Coordinate with marketing and merchandising leadership.
  • Supervise, guide, and support a team of 3-5 operations and project management associates.
  • Oversee detailed Monday.com boards or other tools with project milestones.
  • Lead bi-weekly project reviews with Marketing Leadership.
  • Act as main contact for all marketing operations communication.
