We are seeking an Sr. Manager, Corporate Development to join our team. The Corporate Development team drives Broadridge’s growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments. Originally established as Broadridge’s Acquisitions team, acquisitions remain our top priority. Broadridge has a strong track record as an active and disciplined acquirer, consistently delivering accretive financial returns through strategic focus, rigorous due diligence, and thoughtful integration. Partnerships are our second core area of focus. As partnership activity has grown, these relationships have become significant contributors to Broadridge’s sales growth. The team also manages Broadridge’s portfolio of strategic investments and maintains relationships with several fintech-focused venture capital firms whose funds Broadridge invests in. Finally, the team supports major strategic initiatives and sales opportunities that require M&A expertise. This breadth of responsibilities allows us to engage proactively and flexibly with prospects, creating dynamic growth opportunities. Exploratory partnership discussions often evolve into investment or acquisition opportunities—and vice versa. Role Summary The Senior Manager, Corporate Development will play a key role on this high-impact team, with exposure to Broadridge’s executive leadership. This high-visibility, high-potential position requires a professional with exceptional drive and energy; strong financial and analytical skills; hands-on M&A experience; and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and uphold the highest ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity, with a strong foundation in M&A.
  • Experience across the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, including sourcing, valuation, structuring, due diligence, negotiation, documentation, and integration.
  • Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities with advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation.
  • Demonstrated success leading or contributing to cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Motivated self-starter with a business-oriented, results-driven mindset.
  • Collaborative team player who approaches work with ownership and accountability (“principal’s mindset”).

  • Working knowledge of the asset & wealth management, capital markets, and/or financial technology industries preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of Acquisition, Strategic Investment, and Partnership Opportunities Develop financial models to assess and value acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities in close collaboration with business units, sales, and finance. Create detailed operating plans and synergy forecasts; conduct DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, ROIC, and accretion/dilution analyses.
  • Business Case Creation and Communication Contribute to all phases of business case development, including overviews, market sizing, strategic fit, financial analysis, integration planning, and partnership structure. Prepare internal presentations for C-suite and Board approval, and assist with follow-up analyses. Support clear and effective communication of business cases to key stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Due Diligence Coordinate due diligence among target companies (or potential partners), advisors, Broadridge’s diligence teams, and third-party consultants. Prepare diligence request lists, meeting agendas, and review materials from data rooms and consultant reports. Ensure findings are integrated into the business case and reflected accurately in presentations. Contribute to deal structuring and negotiations, balancing input from business, legal, finance, and operations teams.
  • Integration Governance and Support Assist in preparing monthly integration steering committee reports and meetings. Support the annual deal performance review process used by Broadridge leadership to evaluate acquisition outcomes.
  • Pipeline Building Maintain M&A databases of public company comparables, Broadridge trading multiples, precedent transactions, and target opportunities. Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform inorganic growth strategy, deal sourcing, and opportunity assessment. Prepare pipeline presentations and monthly updates for executive leadership. Support senior Corporate Development professionals in meetings with investment bankers, private equity firms, and potential acquisition or partnership targets.
  • Organic Initiatives Provide analytical and strategic support for major corporate or sales initiatives as needed.
