The Sr. Manager of Contracting will support the company in for drafting, negotiating, and managing a variety of commercial proposals and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies. You will establish strong relationships with cross-functional teams, and act as the primary influencer and point of contact for all revenue-generating documentation. This position may be eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements but must be able to travel to attend meetings or training when requested. Relocation to the Miami area is preferred.

Requirements

  • Law or Paralegal degree or relevant bachelor’s degree required
  • Significant experience (5+ years) drafting, negotiating, and managing complex sales/service agreements
  • Strong business acumen with a sophisticated understanding of the balance between risk and reward
  • Strong critical thinking, decision making, and creative compromise abilities are a must
  • Dynamic and persistent personality with confident leadership and influence capabilities
  • Able to obtain positive outcomes with a strong desire to win business and adopt innovative approaches to winning business
  • Excellent written and verbal comprehension and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Understanding of sales techniques, finance, accounting, and business concepts and terminology.
  • Advanced PC skills required in MS Word

  • Certified Professional Contract Manager (CCPM)
  • Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry
  • Experience with start-ups or growth-stage companies

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, redline, analyze, negotiate, and administer a variety of commercial proposals and agreements, including, but not limited to, sales, service, leasing partners, resellers, international distributors, and internal sales compensation plans. Act as the point of contact and filter for all such requests and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify, review, log, and report on site specific contracts and contract language before and after signature. Serve as primary point of contact for commercial contract inquiries and issues after execution.
  • Where appropriate, escalate requested variations to policies or processes to senior staff and/or other departments. Document all non-standard pricing and contract terms approvals within defined authority levels.
  • Utilize product and service knowledge along with creativity and business acumen skills to discuss and develop alternative contract language options, both independently and with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Exhibit persistence and urgency in following up with sales, customers, and various subject matter experts until open contracts are resolved.
  • Develop an understanding of Insightec’s revenue recognition policies and how proposed customer contract language impacts our ability to recognize revenue on a sale.
  • Gather and review customer order data and documentation for handoff to order processing.
  • Work with various teams to build scalable contract management tools, forms, and processes for rapidly growing global organization. Manage commercial contracts library and related updates in CRM.
  • Oversee and administer full life cycle contract management, including service agreement renewals.
  • Audit and manage existing commercial agreements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
