The Senior Manager of Internal Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance employee engagement and foster a strong internal brand, align internal messaging with the company's mission and values, and foster a culture of collaboration and transparency. This role involves creating and managing internal marketing campaign strategies and creating compelling content that promotes organizational culture, and ensuring consistent messaging across all internal touchpoints.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal marketing and communication strategy to support organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Align internal messaging with the company's vision, mission, cultural values and overall brand and external marketing strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather information, message and continuously improve awareness and understanding of cultural and company initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders and the internal communications team to promote the Panasonic Energy employee value proposition and improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to support employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Partner on strategic initiatives to enhance how the company gathers employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, and other methods to inform communication and employee engagement strategies.
  • Support senior leadership to craft and deliver key messages to employees, including thought leadership, presentation development, and communications coaching.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on communication strategies and messaging that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide communication consultation and support for leadership events, such as town halls, all-hands meetings, and strategy rollouts.
  • Manage and optimize internal communication platforms, such as intranet and collaboration tools.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve communication effectiveness.
  • Lead engaging and informative content strategies for internal communications channels.
  • Oversee the development of campaigns to promote company initiatives, events, and programs internally.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding across all internal communications and marketing.
  • Establish, track and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication efforts using metrics and KPIs.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on employee communication and engagement trends and identify areas of improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage resistance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in employee communications.
  • Introduce innovative ideas and approaches to enhance the effectiveness and impact of internal communications and marketing initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in employee communications, marketing, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Expertise in content creation, storytelling, and internal marketing.
  • General knowledge of business operations with experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
  • Experience in strategic thinking with the ability to align communication efforts with business objectives.
  • Experience in a strategic communications, marketing or equivalent role.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using internal communications tools and platforms.
  • Ability to create program overviews in a written brief, PowerPoint, and verbal form and communicate program details to cross-functional stakeholder audiences.
