About The Position

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Job Description: Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Sr. Manager, Commercial Transformation – Project Osprey - Orthopedics (Fixed-Term - 24 months) within the Commercial Services Excellence team. This role sits within Global Services Strategic Solutions and Commercial Services , partnering with GS Commercial Services, Enterprise Admin Operations, and Master Data Management. The team leads major transformation initiatives, delivers services and capabilities across Global Services, and creates value for the enterprise. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Transformation, this role will lead the transition of services, experience, and capabilities related to the Depuy Synthes (DPS) separation , ensuring cohesion across commercial, operational, and systems activities and the implementation of strategies and solutions within the Strategic Solutions and Commercial Services organization. This is a 24‑month duration-based role .

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Accounting, Project Management, Business Analytics, or a related field is required.
  • 8–10 years of experience in commercial operations, data analytics, project management, data management, or related fields, ideally in a global or multinational environment.
  • Experience guiding teams through ambiguity and supporting clarity during change.
  • Proven project management experience delivering complex initiatives from planning through completion.
  • Experience supporting transformations and deploying new capabilities.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to partner and influence across levels and functions.
  • Ability to motivate teams and foster an inclusive, collaborative working environment.
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to balance multiple workstreams.
  • Experience supporting data quality, accuracy, and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Commercial Workstreams Support and guide commercial-focused workstreams for Project Osprey, translating business needs into clear requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Lead Services, Experience, and Capabilities planning for the DPS separation, partnering across teams to maintain alignment throughout commercial, enterprise admin, and master data processes.
  • Serve as a primary contact for questions or challenges spanning SCS Offer Development, Contract Management, Order Management, Customer Insights, and master data.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to refine the Osprey exit plan and ensure readiness as timelines evolve.
  • Identify risks and partner with teams to support mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Osprey Transformation team on the successful exit of SCS process and technology.
  • Contribute to remain‑co (Global Services) strategy development to ensure fit‑for-purpose operations and long-term success.
  • DPS Transition Delivery Build and maintain an integrated roadmap that outlines transition and exit plans across services, including impacts and dependencies.
  • Partner with multi‑functional stakeholders to support review processes and maintain alignment throughout the separation.
  • Ensure end‑to-end process documentation remains accurate, current, and aligned with Global Services dispositions.
  • Be a Trusted Business Partner Model an enterprise-first approach and partner effectively across teams to support shared goals.
  • Implement Strategy & Solutions in alignment with global transformation objectives.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across functions to support informed, coordinated decision-making.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation Identify opportunities for process and data improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability.
