As a Sr. Manager, Commercial Excellence/Sales Effectiveness supporting Sales Operation and Effectiveness team, you will be trusted to Provide data driven strategic insights, support for ELT, SLT, Provide support for SIP, including yearly quota setting, Masters Club, and ad-hoc adjustment/quota revision analyses , Dedicated analytics partner for US Surgical Marketing brand managers and Dedicated analytics partner for US Surgical Sales leaders at our Fort Worth, TX location. In this role, a typical day will include: Lead yearly quota setting for full US Surgical field force. Conduct routine evaluation of AVQ performance for equity and fairness, consulting with sales heads on any areas of concern. Lead yearly Masters Club, COE development and calculation, and provide support for other ad-hoc sales contests. Routine review of internal and 3rd party data to identify and alert US Surgical Marketing to potential new trends, opportunities, and risks for Alcon. Routine review of 3rd party data, Alcon internal estimates for fairest way to size US Cataract, Glaucoma, Vit, Refractive markets, from national level to ZIP level. Executional partnership for Marketing & Sales on NPL, sales initiatives (consignment management, software upgrade tracking), marketing program roll-out (E&O projections, data provision to agencies, Engage Ocular) Attend MLT, RFT, NALT meetings to provide in-meeting insights, follow-up analyses, and identify themes and trends that require analytics/executional support Pro-active review of competitor websites, press-releases, earnings statements, and other public sources for competitive insights. Incorporate insights into actionable analytics for salesforce and Marketing Advanced analyses of market, competitor trends for SLT, Marketing, Sales leads Advanced market projections, estimates, and forecasts (including IOL market penetration, equipment market sizing, Glaucoma market sizing) ROI analyses for marketing programs (Accelerator, EO), including marketing mix analysis Yearly customer & surgeon segmentation for Sales & product/initiative specific segmentation for Marketing Advanced QBR, brand plan support Reporting for sales & sales leadership (penetration, trending, ASP etc.) 3rd Party Market data (IQVIA) Lead salesforce effectiveness reporting, monitoring, and KPI creation Opportunity & risk identification for key products, target lists
