Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum of 7 years of related experience and staff management.
Ability to develop and implement strategies and build business plans.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple department objectives, staffing and budgets.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management.
Experience with Quality assurance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and other programs as required, including AI.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a testing and certification environment desired with experience in the HVAC industry a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintains accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065:2012, Conformity Assessment—Requirements for Bodies Certifying Products, Processes and Services.
Leads global certification and compliance programs.
Promotes certification program and leads business development by participating in industry meetings and trade shows, including making in-person and webinar presentations to existing and potential members.
Works with cross-functional teams such as the laboratory, advocacy, standards, and marketing to provide program oversight and instruction.
Identifies and implements improvements to internal or external facing systems and processes used by these programs and their participants, including the use of AI.
Provides effective leadership and management of department staff including hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, coaching/mentoring.
Fosters a positive team environment and supports ongoing team development.
