OverviewThe Sr. Manager, Category Management Women’s is the category leader responsible for setting the strategic vision, long‑term direction, and performance of the Women’s business. This role owns category strategy end‑to-end, balancing brand, trend, consumer, and commercial priorities while leading and developing category talent. The Sr. Manager drives clarity in ambiguity, makes final category tradeoffs, and ensures the team operates with focus, confidence, and sustainability. This role is accountable for category benchmarks, cross-functional alignment, and building a strong, future-ready Women’s line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 8+ years of product or category management experience, preferably in footwear or lifestyle brands
  • 3+ years people leadership or team management experience
  • Proven track record of setting category strategy and driving business results
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align senior partners
  • Comfortable leading in ambiguity and fast‑paced environments
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Women’s category strategy end‑to-end, from vision through execution
  • Co‑create category strategy with senior leadership and cascade direction to the team
  • Make final decisions on priorities, tradeoffs, and whitespace opportunities
  • Analyze the business & ensure decisions are made through clear product positioning linking the consumer, trend and relevancy to HeyDude
  • Balance short‑term execution with long‑term growth and brand impact
  • Lead and develop category talent, setting expectations and ways of working
  • Drive triad alignment with Design, Product Development, and Merchandising
  • Own category performance against revenue, margin, and growth benchmarks
  • Build an environment of empowerment, accountability, and consumer‑centric thinking
  • Ensure operational efficiency and clarity across the product creation process
