Otis Elevator is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Business Development to lead our team in the growth of our service business. The Sr. Manager, Business Development will be called upon to refine existing programs, as well as develop and lead new ones. On a typical day you will: Develop and directly manage a business development manager sales structure, recapture specialist program and conversion sales representatives across the region to execute on growth strategy. Refine and manage existing recapture & conversion programs, as well as develop and lead new ones to grow our service business through new business opportunities. Nurture relationships with existing key customers and consultants and be responsible to help find and develop new ones. Partner with NAA to leverage marketing and sales program offerings to drive sales. Manage national account RFPs and strategy. Provide support and standardized tools for local RFPs. Actively participate in the handoff process to identify gaps in conversion standard work and partner with key stakeholders to implement changes and tools to measure accountability and improvement. Must be present in the branches that you cover, travel is a requirement with this role. 50% travel time expected.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Sales management experience required.
  • Solid communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and other Otis employees.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Aggressive, goal-oriented individual with ability to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving ability is key.
  • Creative with excellent presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and selling strategy.
  • Demonstrated good business decision making in previous positions.
  • Team player who can sell on factors other than price.
