Role Summary: The Senior Brand Communications Manager - Burger King - Latin America is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing regional brand communication strategies that strengthen brand positioning, drive consumer engagement and support product innovation across Latin America. Reporting to the Director of Innovation & Communications, this role serves as the key regional connector between both global and regional strategy, and execution — collaborating on localization of global campaigns, translating innovation pipelines into compelling communication platforms, enabling local market success, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. Based in the Regional Headquarters in Miami, this position partners closely with cross-functional teams internally, and franchisees and agency partners to deliver high-impact campaigns, scalable communication frameworks, and best-in-class media execution that builds brand love and supports business growth across the region. This role requires strong collaboration, operational excellence, and deep expertise in consumer marketing, media, and regional brand management. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in brand management, consumer marketing, communications, or media strategy, preferably within QSR, food service, FMCG, retail industries or agencies.
  • Proven experience managing multi-market or regional campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing communications, media planning, and campaign performance measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders and markets.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with franchise organizations and agency partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • This position requires conducting business operations across the Latin America region. To perform the essential functions of this role, fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

  • Regional Brand Communications Strategy & Execution Collaborate with the International Team and franchisees on successfully launching global campaigns with local relevancy to strengthen the brand positioning.
  • Lead the development and execution of regional brand communication plans aligned with innovation launches, brand priorities, and business objectives.
  • Translate product innovation pipelines into compelling communication platforms and campaign narratives for regional and local activation.
  • Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all markets, channels, and consumer touchpoints.
  • Develop regional campaign toolkits, messaging frameworks, and activation guidelines for local market adaptation.
  • Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to optimize effectiveness and efficiency across markets.
  • Launch Innovation inspired Communications Partner with Innovation, Insights, and any other necessary cross-functional teams to build communication strategies that support successful product launches.
  • Develop go-to-market communication plans for new menu items, limited-time offers, and strategic product platforms.
  • Ensure clear positioning, value proposition articulation, and consumer relevance across diverse markets.
  • Support consumer testing and market validation from a communication and messaging perspective.
  • Market Enablement & Franchisee Partnership Serve as a strategic partner to local marketing teams and franchisees, providing guidance on campaign development, media strategy, and brand execution.
  • Support markets in adapting regional campaigns to local cultural and business contexts while preserving brand integrity.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing, best practice exchange, and performance benchmarking across regions and markets.
  • Provide tools, frameworks, and training that strengthen local execution capabilities.
  • Media Strategy & Performance Optimization Collaborate with the International Media Team, regional and local media agencies, and Franchisees, to plan and execute integrated media strategies that maximize reach, efficiency, and ROI.
  • Support media investment decision-making through performance analysis, benchmarking, and strategic recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for regional media synergies and scale efficiencies across markets.
  • Monitor emerging media trends and consumer behaviors to inform future planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with the International Comms and Media Teams, Insights, and Regional Innovation and Field Marketing teams to ensure aligned and seamless product launch execution.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure timelines, deliverables, and campaign assets are executed effectively.
  • Lead the development and implementation of communication processes, planning routines, and execution frameworks that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Brand Stewardship & Performance Monitoring Track brand health, campaign effectiveness, and communication KPIs across markets.
  • Protect and strengthen brand equity through consistent execution and high creative standards.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations that inform future communication and innovation strategies.
