About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Application Delivery (Mobile App) is responsible for leading the product delivery for our Mobile Applications. This role will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to internal HCA depts., HQ global matrix partners and Vendor Partners in developing, enhancing and supporting mobile applications for Genesis, Hyundai and Kia finance. In addition, this role ensures that mobile apps evolve as the technology changes emerges and the apps meet the security and performance standards established by the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years progressive experience in software development, including technical lead experience.
  • Hands on experience with mobile application delivery.
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Financial Services industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and deliver results aligned with company vision, goals, and objectives.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and deliver products in a matrix environment, from ideation through alignment and execution.
  • Strong technical expertise in web and mobile application development, with hands-on experience in Next.js/React and Java Spring Boot.
  • Proficient in AWS, Dynatrace APM tools, and RESTful services.
  • Working knowledge in Persona development, Customer Journey mapping, and leveraging analytics for insights.
  • Proven experience collaborating and leading offshore development teams.
  • Solid understanding of IT architecture, system integrations, and related concepts.
  • Knowledgeable in software development methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and SDLC.

  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively to achieve shared objectives.
  • Make sound, timely decisions that drive organizational progress.

  • MBA a plus.
  • Financial Services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Agile software development team to design, develop, test, and deliver high quality solutions to meet organization’s needs (Projects, SCRs, MBODs)
  • Manage vendors and partners to ensure Service Levels are met for all the applications. Promote ideas to automate repetitive tasks, reduce technical dept and improve the reliability of the applications
  • Serve as a thought leader, idea generator to leverage digital technologies and channels to solve customer issues / unmet needs and enable new revenue generation / cost reduction / customer experience opportunities
  • Lead in identifying new digital capabilities and emerging technologies; assess their impact, strategic fit, opportunities, and risks, to shape the strategic direction of technology
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members by providing direction, performance feedback, and support to ensure effective collaboration, professional growth, and achievement of organizational and personal goals
