Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. The Sr. Manager's responsibilities will include defining and implementing the strategic vision for their value stream to achieve scale and overseeing the daily operations of the value stream. Safety and product quality are paramount. The Sr. Manager and their team will work closely with development engineering for manufacturing process definitions and will leverage our teams in procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain to enable high-volume production throughput. The role is based in Redmond, WA. This position will play a crucial role in Amazon Leo success by: Ensuring successful production and qualification of satellite systems Scaling manufacturing capabilities to meet program objectives Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement Building and developing world-class technical teams Managing critical facilities and infrastructure Contributing to program-level strategy and decision-making This Sr. Manager role will lead manufacturing and production teams for one of our production fascilities in Redmond. They will have end to end responsibility for manufacturing some of the most critical and complex technology products. Amazon Leo's mission is to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Production of Amazon Leo's development satellites takes place in Redmond, WA, and we have announced a new full-rate production facility in Kirkland, WA that will meet the demands of the full constellation.
