About The Position

Coho Consulting Group is seeking a superior Senior Management Analyst to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Space Portfolio Division (SPD) in Arlington, VA. in coordinating operations, ensuring the effective execution of strategic initiatives, and maintaining compliance with organizational directives. The role focuses on process improvement, milestone tracking, and facilitating critical decision-making for senior DoD leadership. This position will be on-site at the Pentagon. Requirements

  • Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree or higher required
  • Project Management Institute - Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 20 years of progressive program management experience, including supervisory roles
  • Proven success in planning, developing, integrating, and executing major research, engineering, and development efforts for defense agencies
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with extensive and diversified requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for senior DoD and Army leadership
  • Working knowledge of government contracting, budgeting, cost control, and logistics operations

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff actions across the organization to ensure unity of effort and alignment with higher headquarters (HQ) directives.
  • Capture, track, and disseminate responses to suspense actions from higher HQ while monitoring internal actions and deadlines.
  • Manage key milestones and coordinate briefings for senior leaders, including Quarterly Program Reviews (QPRs).
  • Track personnel training and certifications in accordance with regulatory guidance, reporting status to leadership monthly.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and communications for leadership review and decision-making.
