About The Position

Join us as a Sr. Maintenance Technician! Contribute to the reliable and efficient operation of our production site by joining our maintenance team, ensuring equipment availability and supporting a dynamic Operations environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 10 years mechanical Maintenance experience in chemical, food, pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Reliability Maintenance Techniques, Technical/mechanical school training.
  • Certification in one Reliability Maintenance discipline: Thermography, Oil Analysis, Vibration Analysis, Lubrication or ISA Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (CIMM).
  • Ability to be on your feet upwards of 75-85% of a shift, climb ladders and flights of stairs up to heights of 2nd to 3rd floor and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, install and troubleshoot process equipment systems comprised of pumps, tanks, piping systems, valves, Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO), HVAC, Air compressors, Generator, and other mechanical systems.
  • Ensures operation of process equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, follows diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications, troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calliper’s, micrometres, and other measuring instruments.
  • Conducts job tasks in compliance with company, state and federal safety and environmental procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Ensure all work orders are completed and closed out properly in the SAP PM Modul.
  • Perform monthly forklift and machine maintenance.
  • Order new/replacement equipment as needed as well as schedule contractors as needed.
  • Conduct monthly checks: emergency lights, exit signs, CO₂ system, fire extinguishers, fire suppression churn, emergency exits, and emergency showers/eye wash.
  • Flush emergency showers bi‑weekly; replace corroded/problematic parts.
  • Change water in portable eye‑wash stations quarterly and maintain.
  • Order fuel and schedule semi‑annual fire‑door inspections.
  • Schedule annual scale calibrations, including Weights & Measures shipping scale.
  • Schedule annual LEL detector calibration.
  • Support quarterly public sewer cleaning and well‑lid/filter cleaning.
  • Manage annual CLC air services and annual CAS heating/air services.
