About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our RDC team in McKees Rocks, PA. In this role, you’ll take the lead on maintaining and improving the equipment and systems that keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, perform advanced repairs, and serve as a go-to expert for your peers. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree or certification preferred).
  • 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring others.
  • A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear communication skills and a team-first attitude.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or on-call when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PLCs, automation, and industrial controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and building systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the team, offering guidance and hands-on training.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement projects that enhance reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records, including work performed, parts used, and equipment history.
  • Help plan and coordinate maintenance projects, shutdowns, and upgrades.
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.
  • Partner with engineering, production, and leadership to identify root causes and long-term fixes.
  • Participate in audits and safety initiatives to promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
