Job Details: This position is for an experienced industrial maintenance Technician who will work in a distribution center environment. The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, focusing on maintaining and troubleshooting complex electrical and automated systems. Schedule/Compensation: Shift Details Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM (or until shift completion) Training schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (subject to change as needed). Compensation: This role has a budgeted range of $28.00 -$30.00/hr. + $1.50 Shift Differential
Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (relay logic to microprocessor controls)
- Knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems (AC/DC drives, PLCs, UPS, compressors, etc.)
- Ability to work nights, holidays, and occasional short‑notice call‑ins
- Quick learner with solid problem‑solving skills
Nice To Haves
- NEC knowledge and light electrical construction experience
- Experience with LOTO, OSHA, and work order systems
- Technical degree or trade certification
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electro‑mechanical systems
- Support and improve equipment such as conveyors, A‑Frames, printers, strappers, compressors, and other automated technologies
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Lead and mentor junior maintenance staff
- Work with vendors and contractors to resolve issues
- Learn new systems as technology evolves
