Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities, and visually inspect and test assigned machines and equipment for proper functionality. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. Perform mechanic-based tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, trouble shooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust. Perform a variety of routine plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Track and maintain electronic records on all maintenance and repairs to machines and facility. Order/requisition parts as needed. Follow company and departmental principles, rules, guidelines, etc. with regards to health and safety, ISO and IATF requirements, Lean manufacturing principles, and good housekeeping. Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments. Assesses building systems to plan work assignments. Works with maintenance lead to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks. Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed. Help with spares, inventory, parts, and contractors. Supports audits. Other duties as may be assigned.
