About The Position
This is an exciting 6-month contract opportunity for a Sr. Mainframe MFA Consultant. The role involves identifying team roles and responsibilities, understanding Entra ID hosting and configuration, discovering MFA push channels, applying IBM ZMFA maintenance, configuring zMFA runtime parameters, and integrating with Entra ID MFA enforcement points for various access paths.
Responsibilities
- Identify Roles and responsibility of team
- Understand how Entra ID is hosted and configured
- Discover which channel can be used for MFA pushes
- Apply required IBM ZMFA maintenance & updates as recommended by IBM
- Configure zMFA runtime parameters
- Integrate with Entra ID MFA enforcement points for interactive access paths, including TPX, Personal Communications (PCOMM), and web-based access tools
- Installation and Base Configuration of zMFA components which is in-scope z/OS systems protected by RACF
- Define and configure required zMFA started tasks and supporting services
- Integrate zMFA with Microsoft Entra ID MFA via RADIUS for interactive access methods
- Configure enrollment process
- Recovery procedure for re-registration, token issues
- Integrate with zMFA
