We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy ML and generative AI solutions that have a meaningful impact across the organization. This role involves developing scalable tooling, production services, and infrastructure to support the full AI/ML lifecycle, from model training to deployment and monitoring. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, product managers, and engineers while mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and has a strong passion for creating AI-driven products that drive measurable business outcomes. This position offers the flexibility to work hybrid or fully remote within the U.S.

  • Build and maintain tools and services that power ML and generative AI solutions in production.
  • Develop training, inference, and evaluation platforms with robust testing frameworks and metrics.
  • Deploy and manage applications supporting the AI/ML software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Implement and maintain APIs, vector databases, and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML/AI solutions into business workflows.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code while balancing quality and delivery in fast-paced projects.
  • 6+ years of experience deploying ML/AI solutions in production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience building RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, relational and low-latency databases, and Celery.
  • Familiarity with Protobuf message definitions.
  • Proven ability to work on ML/AI products from scratch and iteratively improve systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align teams and priorities.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and taking ownership of cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with vector databases and cloud infrastructure (especially AWS).
  • Production coding experience in Java or Kotlin.
  • Background in working with highly sensitive data, preferably in healthcare environments.
