There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at First American, you will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes innovation and collaboration. This role is pivotal in building and implementing advanced deep learning models, particularly focusing on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV). You will be responsible for designing and architecting large language models (LLMs) based on transformer architecture, ensuring that these models are optimized for various NLP tasks. Your expertise will be crucial in fine-tuning LLMs to task-specific datasets, deploying these models in production, and optimizing real-time inference to handle millions of predictions daily. In this position, you will have the opportunity to engage in both research and development (R&D) and engineering responsibilities. As part of the R&D role, you will focus on ML operations, ensuring best practices in ML development and operations are followed. This includes developing and maintaining robust ML infrastructure, monitoring model performance, and addressing model drift to maintain accuracy over time. You will also drive innovative R&D initiatives, exploring new ML operations techniques and deployment technologies. On the engineering side, you will build and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP, or Databricks) for deploying machine learning models while adhering to security and compliance standards. Your role will involve implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation, maintaining model monitoring tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and scalability of ML systems. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for ML models, ensuring high availability and low latency, and automating the deployment and scaling of ML models. This position requires a strong foundation in software engineering principles, neural network architecture, and cloud computing platforms. You will be expected to stay updated with the latest advancements in LLM research and contribute to the company's knowledge base through documentation and presentations. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams will be essential for success in this role.
