The Sr M&A Integration Planning Manager will lead and coordinate the successful execution of integration activities for a variety of strategic transactions, ensuring seamless translation of deal insights into actionable integration plans. This role oversees M&A pre-close diligence, integration program structuring, resourcing and executive reporting to enable disciplined and people-centric integration execution. Acting as a bridge across enterprise functions, external buyers/sellers and third party advisors. This role is responsible for ensuring and delivering business continuity, synergy capture and long term strategic value through successful integration, planning and execution.

  • Serve as the central point of integration contact for M&A transactions, leading cross functional programs across the enterprise.
  • Support development of integration playbooks and tools by codifying learnings from prior deals.
  • Collaborate with teams in supporting pre-sign due diligence activities to assess integration complexity, risks and opportunities.
  • Translate diligence insights, and findings into integration inputs for the M&A integration team to inform integration strategy and planning.
  • Lead integration planning efforts focused on people, process, and systems.
  • Formulate enterprise integration strategies and pre-close planning frameworks in alignment with the overall deal rationale and business case.
  • Coordinate delivery milestones, timelines and dependencies on deals both internally and with the buyer/seller to ensure transaction close readiness and synergy realization.
  • Produce regular executive-level reports summarizing deal status, risks, and progress to plan.
  • Surface key risks mitigations and escalations to leadership for decision-making.
  • Provide clear, data-driven updates on integration program plans and progress.
  • Act as liaison between M&A Integration Office and deal-specific functional teams, ensuring smooth flow of information for planning and post-close execution.
  • Support leaders across the enterprise in communicating integration plans and updates.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or a combination of education and equivalent related experience.
  • 7–8 years M&A integration, or program management experience with large strategic initiatives.
  • 4-7 years - Strong understanding of key functional domains (front office, back office) and M&A lifecycle (diligence through post-close integration).
  • 2-4 years - Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional skills in executive reporting, matrix management, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Analytical thinker with strong business acumen and ability to translate strategic insights into operational plans.
  • Excel/PowerPoint skills; experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana).
  • Communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence across functions.
